1.Rubber ball cleaning device is the best equipment for effective cleaning of condenser cooling pipe in the operation of steam turbine generator set. The performance of the device directly affects the cleanliness and heat transfer efficiency of the condenser. The device operates online and can be operated manually and automatically. It can keep the condenser transfer pipe (copper pipe or stainless steel pipe) in a clean state all the time, prolong the service life of cooling pipe and reduce labor intensity. It is an indispensable device to improve the economic benefit of power plant and ensure the safe operation of condenser.
2. Components of rubber ball cleaning device:
The utility model is composed of ball receiving net, ball loading chamber, rubber ball pump, distributor, valves, pipelines and an electrical control cabinet.In order to ensure the reliable operation of rubber ball cleaning device and prevent a large amount of impurities in circulating water from blocking condenser heat exchanger pipe (copper or stainless steel pipe), a secondary filter should be installed on the inlet pipe of circulating water, which can remove impurities larger than 7 mm in circulating water.

II.Advantages
The rubber ball device manufactured by our factory is an updated product of other rubber ball cleaning devices. The main components of this device are ball collecting net and secondary filter net. It has the following characteristics:
The design structure is novel and reasonable, the operation is convenient, the rubber ball recovery rate (≥95%), the secondary filter has strong filtering ability, and the water resistance is less than 350mmH2O.
I.Function
Receiving ball net is the key equipment in rubber ball cleaning system. It is installed on the outlet pipe of condenser. The circulating water carrying sponge ball passes through the condenser pipe bundle. After being blocked by receiving ball net plate, it is transported to ball-loading chamber, distributor and other valves by rubber ball pump into the inlet pipe of circulating water and then into the condenser for recycling use. Its function is to separate rubber ball from circulating cooling water and the ball can’t be jammed and leaked. The receiving net produced by our factory consists of three types: SD (single mesh type), SF ("A" shunt type) and SLD (funnel type).
II. Working principle:
The diameter of the wet ball is slightly larger than that of the cooling pipe (about 1-2 mm), and the wet specific gravity of the ball is similar to that of water. The rubber balls are put into the ball-loading chamber from its hand hole, and the quantity is about 10% of the copper pipe in the condenser inlet chamber. Then start the rubber ball pump and open the ball valves at both ends of the system. The rubber ball is driven into the condenser water chamber by a flow slightly higher than the inlet pressure of the circulating water.
Because the rubber ball is a flexible elastomer with many micro-holes, under the action of pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of circulating water, it is extruded through the cooling pipe and wiped the inner diameter of the cooling pipe once, so that the fouling on the inner wall of the pipe is brought out with the water flow, and the rubber ball enters the ball receiving net with the circulating water passing through the outlet pipe. The rubber ball is separated by the blocking of the ball-collecting mesh plate and pumped out by pump and returned to the ball-loading chamber, so that the condenser cooling pipe can be continuously and automatically cleaned by recycling.
III. SD Ball receiving net
(2) Structural characteristics
SD (single mesh) ball-collecting net is suitable for DN400-700 mm pipe diameter system. It consists of mesh board, operation shaft, guide wing, shell, operation mechanism (electric actuator), etc. The reticulated plate is made of stainless steel bars and can be rotated. When the reticulated plate is on the outer shell wall, it is in the receiving position.Rotate a certain angle beyond the center line of the receiving net to reach the backwashing position about 10 degrees.

(3) Working Principle
Receiving position: When the system is running, the net plate is in the receiving position. At this time, the net plate is close to the inner wall of the shell. The rubber ball is blocked by the net plate on one side. Through the lead-out pipe, the rubber ball is carried by a small stream of water and be sucked the rubber ball conveyor pump. Thus, the rubber ball is sent back to the loading chamber for recycling. Backflush position: When the pressure difference between the front and back of the mesh plate reaches a certain value, the operation of the mesh plate to the backwash position (after receiving the ball), then the accumulated debris on the mesh plate, it will be washed and carried away by the cooling water.

IV. SF ball receiving Net
(2) Structure
SF type ball receiving net is used in DN800-DN2200 system of circulating water pipe. It is composed of two grid plates, two operation shafts, two guide plates, two outlets, housing, transmission mechanism, Grid plate, etc. The two mesh boards are made of stainless steel bars, which can be turned over. The "A" type arrangement is used. When the reticulated plate is "A" shape, and the edge is attached to the inner wall of the shell it is in the receptacle position; it is in backwashing position when the two mesh boards are turned to both sides at a certain angle.
(三)、工作原理 收球位置:系統運行時,網板處于收球位置,此時,兩個網板邊緣分別于筒壁內側貼住,膠球由于網板的阻攔被匯聚在收球網兩側,分別被水流攜帶通過膠球出口,經匯集后被吸入膠球輸送泵內,送回清洗系統,供再循環使用。

V. SLD receiving net:
Structural features
SLD receiving net consists of shell, collecting funnel net and outlet. The gathering ball funnel net is conical in form and made of stainless steel. The advantage of funnel receiving net is that the receiving rate can reach 98 if there is no dead corner of drifting in the system。
The disadvantage is that the water resistance is high, because some debris in the circulating water is blocked in the net at the same time of receiving the ball, so high efficiency secondary filter must be installed at the inlet of the circulating water, and the negative pressure backflushing outlet must be equipped in the net. And increase the flow area of funnel network to ensure that the water resistance is less than the design value.
(3) Working principle
When the funnel-type ball-collecting net is running, it is always in the position of ball-collecting. At this time, the rubber ball enters the funnel-type net with circulating water and is absorbed into the conveying pump at the bottom outlet of the conical funnel and sent back to the cleaning system for recycling.

Ball loading chamber
I. Function
Ball loading chamber is used to install rubber balls in the device, recover rubber balls, and observe the operation of rubber balls in the system.
3. Structural features:
Ball loading chamber structure is composed of shell, cover plate, ball collecting bucket, switching valve, inlet pipe, outlet pipe, manual actuator or electric actuator. The cover is equipped with plexiglass observation window and exhaust valve. The lower part of the shell is equipped with a water discharge valve. The ball loading chamber is designed with enough capacity to ensure that the sponge rubber ball has room for touring in the ball loading chamber.

Ⅱ. Working principle
Before the rubber ball cleaning device is put into operation, the switching valve of the loading chamber shall be put in the receiving position. A sufficient number of rubber balls are put into the balling chamber, and the number of balls is 10% that of the condenser one-way heat exchanger pipe. The balling chamber is filled with water with the outlet ball valve and exhaust valve of the balling chamber. Then open the switching valve and the valve in the one-way system of the rubber ball cleaning device, and then start the rubber ball conveyor pump, and then it is in the working condition. When receiving the ball, put the switch valve in the receiving position and open the discharging valve. At this time, the rubber ball is blocked in the funnel of the balling chamber. After 10 minutes, the rubber ball cleaning system stops running. The rubber ball is removed from the balling chamber, , and the ball recovery rate is counted and calculated.

IV. SF ball receiving Net
